About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Tax Director to join our team at Pro-Tax. As a key member of our Mergers and Acquisitions Tax team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax advice to our clients on complex Mergers and Acquisitions transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on transaction tax and wider commercial M&A issues, managing a portfolio of high-profile projects.
  • Due diligence in respect of mergers and acquisitions, identifying potential issues and developing strategies to overcome them.
  • Ad hoc project work, providing tax advice and guidance to clients on Mergers and Acquisitions transactions.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax advice.
  • Collaborating with other teams within Pro-Tax to deliver a comprehensive service to clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Mergers and Acquisitions tax, gained in a professional services firm.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to analyze information and identify key issues.
  • Strong technical skills, with a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with clients.
