Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our logistics team in the maintenance of wheelchairs for our NHS wheelchair users within the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering, collecting, installing, and repairing wheelchairs in patients' homes and other locations, ensuring great customer experience throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver, collect, install, and repair wheelchairs in patients' homes and other locations.
  2. Understand and demonstrate the correct functionality and safe installation of items, repair and replace any damaged or faulty stock items.
  3. Ensure vehicle maintenance, including safety checks.
  4. Participate in the on-call rota with an enhanced allowance during this period.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid UK Driving license with no more than 6 valid points for insurance coverage purposes.

Working Environment:

This position is working in a regulated environment and will therefore be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure check.
