Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Paediatric Nurse to join our team. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for paediatric patients, upholding the Trust's CARES values.
  2. Administer oral and intravenous medication in accordance with Trust policy, once assessed as competent.
  3. Promote continuing education and professional development by attending necessary training and acting as a Practice Supervisor or Assessor to student nurses.
  4. Work collaboratively with the paediatric nursing workforce to support other areas of paediatric practice as necessary.
Requirements
  • RSCN / RN Child qualification.
  • Evidence of professional development and continuing education.
  • Sound clinical knowledge and practice skills.
  • Mentorship in Practice or other teaching qualification.
