About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Surveyor to join our Estates Team as a key member of our Strategic Property Service.

As a Graduate Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering an effective estate management and valuation service for the Council, specializing in property and strategic asset management.

You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of assets, including town halls, libraries, schools, depots, community buildings, sports grounds, and parks, as well as non-operational and investment estate comprising surplus buildings and land, leased land and buildings, industrial estates, sports clubs, and shopping centers.

You will work closely with our Senior Estates Surveyor and other team members to deliver key services to residents and grow the Council's real estate portfolio income.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Property Graduate who has already begun working towards the APC and has a passion to develop and focus their surveying career on Asset Management.

You will be supported in gaining appropriate diverse experience to attain professional qualifications and will be given exposure to managing a diverse portfolio and playing a key role in the delivery of Council and Place Directorate priorities.

About You

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about property and asset management.

You should have a cognate degree or be willing to study for a real estate qualification and have some experience of property and either a degree or be willing to study for a real estate qualification.

You will be able to work at pace with enthusiasm and professionalism, whilst engaging with and influencing key stakeholders, and will be part of a team of like-minded professionals who will give support and ensure a range of property experience.
