Senior Scrub Nurse – Orthopaedic Surgery
At Ramsay Health Care, we are excited to expand our surgical team at Springfield Hospital, a premier facility known for its comprehensive range of medical services including Orthopaedics, Oncology, and more. Our commitment to integrating advanced technology ensures optimal patient care and support for our dedicated staff.
Springfield Hospital, established in 1987, is a leading private healthcare provider in Essex, featuring 64 beds with en-suite facilities, specialized parent-child rooms, a 14-bed Day Unit, and a high dependency unit.
We are currently enhancing our theatre department and invite applications for the role of Senior Scrub Nurse specializing in Orthopaedics.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a crucial part in a collaborative team focused on achieving the highest clinical standards in a supportive environment. Your expertise will be essential in performing scrub duties during a variety of consultant-led surgical procedures, encompassing diverse complexities and specialties.
Qualifications and Skills Required
• Valid NMC/HCPC registration
• A proactive and adaptable mindset
• A compassionate and understanding demeanor
• Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) – Preferred but not mandatory
• Prior experience in orthopaedic procedures such as hip and knee arthroplasties, as well as anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions is advantageous.
