About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Data Science team at Sprout. As a Data Scientist, you will play a vital role in developing cutting-edge AI solutions and exploring new techniques for claims automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement AI features for our claims automation platform
  • Research and deploy machine learning algorithms to improve model accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide technical guidance on model design and implementation to ensure seamless integration with our existing systems
  • Support customer-facing teams by providing data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Translate business problems into technical solutions that drive business value
  • Deliver AI/ML solutions from data sourcing to model deployment, ensuring high-quality results and timely delivery
  • Contribute to the development of our Data Science strategy and product roadmap
  • Drive improvements in Data Science operations, including process optimization and tooling enhancements
  • Educate business stakeholders on Data Science processes and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AI advancements and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the team
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Python and other object-oriented languages, with a strong understanding of software development principles
  • Experience with PyTorch and Transformer-based models, with a track record of successful Computer Vision or NLP projects
  • Strong understanding of deploying models to production, with expertise in deep learning, machine learning best practices, and model evaluation
  • Solid foundation in Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Analysis, with a strong understanding of data visualization and communication
  • Agile environment experience and knowledge, with familiarity with AWS services, GCP, Kubernetes, and other technologies
