Job Details

This is a role with an opportunity to make a real difference to the learning and progress of our pupils, working to provide one-to-one and group support and teaching. You will be adapting teaching resources, thinking of new ways to learn, being fun and creative in your approach and adaptable to a child's needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and teaching to pupils in a classroom setting
  • Adapt teaching resources to meet the needs of individual pupils
  • Work closely with the SENDCo and SEND team to provide support to pupils with special educational needs
  • Prepare teaching resources and class displays
Requirements
  • GCSE English & Maths Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEND or behavior needs would be beneficial
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
  • Can be adaptable, take on board new ideas and think on their feet
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
