We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Doctor to join our Community Emergency Medicine team at Transformation Unit.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is for a Doctor to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department.
The successful candidate will have experience working in Emergency Medicine and will be able to provide senior support as required.
The role will involve reviewing and managing patients presenting to the Emergency Department, ensuring that all Trust standards are maintained, and providing a high standard of care to all patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide and maintain a high standard of care for all patients in the Emergency Department
- Review and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department, with senior support as required
- Ensure that all Trust standards are maintained to ensure a high quality of care to all who attend any and all services provided by Transformation Unit
- Ensure that patient confidentiality is always adhered to
- MBBS or equivalent/MRCS
- Holds full UK GMC registration and license to practice
- Previous experience in one of the following medical specialties: Acute/Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics, General or Emergency Surgery
- Working towards a post-graduate qualification
- Primary FRCA, MRCP, MRCS, MCEM or equivalent
- ALS Certified and up to date
- Understand the structure and functional principles of the NHS
- Previous experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics
- Induction and weekly teaching; Education supervisor for support with personal learning objectives
- Study leave budget per annum; separate funding for one life support course per year
- Support with college examination preparation and further personal development
- Experience in audit and quality improvement projects
- Opportunities for development of ultrasound by our in-house level 2 trainers
