About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our award-winning platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Lead design projects from initial research to final implementation, overseeing the entire process and ensuring design specifications are met.
  • Design Creation: Translate concepts into tangible design assets, creating wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure design specifications are understood and implemented accurately, addressing technical constraints as needed.
  • Design Iteration: Oversee the iterative design process, making data-driven decisions and continuously refining designs based on user feedback and testing.
  • Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design guidelines and component libraries.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in multi-disciplinary teams, working with developers, marketers, content strategists, and other specialists to ensure a unified approach to product development.
  • UX Advocacy: Advocate for UX within the wider business, identifying opportunities to showcase UX through blog posts, talks, and workshops.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance and support to junior members of the team.
About You
  • Creative Mindset: You have a naturally creative approach to problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a UX role.
  • Skills: Solid prototyping software knowledge (Figma, XD, etc.), expertise in User-Centred Design, understanding of Visual Design Principles, and knowledge of Current UX/UI Trends.
