Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Head of People, you will serve as a strategic ally to the organization, ensuring alignment between the human resources function and the overall business strategy.
- Oversee daily HR operations, including the evaluation of policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Act as a practical communicator, providing guidance on all personnel matters in accordance with commercial objectives.
- Lead initiatives based on data-driven insights, planning and implementing enhancements derived from analysis.
- Advance the people-focused culture, understanding your client group and developing initiatives that foster employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Support and mentor managers on all HR-related issues, aiding in the professional development of your colleagues and ensuring uniformity across the organization.
- Understand how HR can contribute commercially through innovative initiatives.
- Engage in workforce and succession planning.
- Manage and improve the employee lifecycle.
- Qualifications for Success:
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
- Thorough understanding of contemporary HR principles and employment legislation.
- Prior experience in leading and mentoring a team within the HR domain.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Inherently commercially aware.
- Experience in implementing agile methodologies.
- Background in hospitality or accommodation within a growing organization is preferred.
