Discover is seeking a highly skilled Chief Technology Strategist to lead the development of our application ecosystem. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for driving technology strategy and technical capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sr. Product Owners to develop product vision and strategy, aligning with technology strategy
  • Oversee the design process for applications, ensuring alignment with architecture vision
  • Coach other architects to develop product quality strategy, including non-functional requirements
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of business processes and technical building blocks
  • Train others in solution design patterns and coach internal technology communities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Software Development, Software Engineering, Technical Architecture, or related experience
  • Internal applicants: technical proficiency rating of proficient on the Dreyfus architecture scale
  • External applicants: technical interview required
