Job Summary

EMBS Technology is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in a challenging role that involves developing cutting-edge Cyber Security products and systems. As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, contributing to the design, development, and testing of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test software applications using C# and WPF/XAML.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Engage in unit testing and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Develop and maintain automated unit tests to ensure software integrity.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues and requirements.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in developing Windows applications using C# and WPF/XAML.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases, including mySQL, SQLite, or similar.
  • Conversant with networking protocols, including HTTP, SNMP, and TFTP.
  • Experience with problem analysis and requirements capture.
  • Technical report writing skills.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, Perl, or PowerShell.
  • Web front-end design experience.
  • Network security and vulnerability analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with static analysis tools.
  • Experience with software unit test automation and tools.
  • Embedded C/C++ development skills.

What We Offer

EMBS Technology offers a competitive salary ranging from £45K to £65K, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
