Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Brett Martin. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial sales function by analyzing project documentation and providing accurate quotations to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our modular commercial product range, including their limitations and applications.
  • Provide detailed and accurate cost estimates for products and installation works.
  • Collaborate with the sales and project office team to ensure a world-class service is delivered to our customers.
  • Communicate the features and benefits of our products and services to new and existing contacts, and assist them in selecting the most suitable products for their needs.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think logically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • GCSE C and above in Maths and English.
  • Previous estimating experience, preferably in the construction industry.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Commercially aware of the construction industry.
  • Able to undertake project management.
  • Knowledge of CAD.
  • Previous experience in an estimating role.
