Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Technology Engineer to join our team. As a Digital Technology Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our client's operations in the gas sector by developing and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the development of the latest technology, standards, and best practices into our Operational Technology equipment.
  • Carry out cyber security threat assessments in line with IEC 62443 or equivalent.
  • Complete asset vulnerabilities identification activities.
  • Research and understand the latest advancements in IT and network technologies.
  • Complete R&D activities aligned to the Digital Technology Division's 4 key Market Areas:
    • OT Cyber Security
    • Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT)
    • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
    • Big Data Analytics

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of at least 5 years' experience within the IT and Software Operational Technology market.
  • Familiarity with high-level programming languages (such as Python, NodeJS).
  • Familiarity with Web development languages (such as PHP, JavaScript, and HTML).
  • Familiarity with IEC61131 programming languages.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming IDEs such as RSLogix 5000, GX Developer, Codesys, and TIA Portal.
  • Familiarity with databases such as SQL.
  • Familiarity with database integration for web services.
  • Understanding of IoT devices protocols such as MQTT, AMQP, CoAP, etc.
  • Familiarity with client-server architecture.
