The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Lightning Conductor Engineer to join our team at Coburg Banks Technical. As a Lightning Conductor Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and upgrading Lightning Protection systems on buildings and structures. This will involve working on a variety of tall structures such as high-rise offices, flats, church spires, towers, industrial chimneys, and power station cooling towers.

You will be required to follow pre-designed schemes including drawings, risk assessments, and method statements. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

The Candidate:

To be successful as a Lightning Conductor Engineer, you should have:

  • Strong and proven experience in lightning protection, whether in testing, repair, or installation.
  • Customer-facing experience in a field service environment.
  • A valid CSCS Card.
  • A full and valid UK driving licence.

If you have experience or interest in roles such as Lightning Protection Technician, Earthing Systems Installer, Field Service Engineer, Electrical Safety Technician, or High-Rise Structure Specialist, you may find this role appealing.
