About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Psychiatry Consultant to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Consultant General Adult Psychiatry - CMHT team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert psychiatric care to patients with complex mental health needs
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Contribute to the development of mental health policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Completion of specialist training in adult psychiatry
  • Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
