About the Role
The Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Team Manager for the Kolvin Service. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality adolescent forensic mental health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical, management, and professional leadership to support the clinical team in delivering the highest possible quality of care.
- Maintain a high profile with the clinical business unit and NHS England.
- Coordinate and manage staff resources to ensure the effective delivery of services.
- Work collaboratively with clinicians from different disciplines and professional backgrounds to achieve shared goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.
Requirements
- First-level registered nurse (RNMH, RMN, RNLD, or equivalent) or social worker with relevant postgraduate qualification or training.
- Experience of coordinating and managing staff resources, working within a multi-disciplinary team, and providing community-based mental health services.
- Leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience of performance management.
- A commitment to partnership working, multi-agency, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
