Job Title: Plate Wash Kitchen Porter

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Plate Wash Kitchen Porter. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized environment, ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our school's pantry, kitchen, and dining facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Assist with basic food preparation and presentation
  • Keep and maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining areas
  • Other duties as required


Requirements:

  • No formal education is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
