We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our team at Matchtech Energy. As a key member of our estimating team, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate cost estimates for tenders and collaborating with project managers and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and analyze data to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for tenders, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company policies.
  • Review specifications and conduct detailed take-offs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers to gather necessary information and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and present estimates to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and supplier practices to inform estimating decisions.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in estimating within the gas mains and services replacement sector.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools, with a strong understanding of tender processes and financial documentation.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and report writing abilities, with a methodical approach to work and attention to detail.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in estimating or related fields.
