Job Summary

Chevron Traffic Management is seeking a highly skilled Traffic Management Operative to join our team. As a Traffic Management Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic on our roads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management systems, including cones, signs, frames, sandbags, and other equipment on low-speed roads.
  • Conduct traffic counts, communicate with clients and subcontractors, and record timings and near misses.
  • Maintain temporary traffic lights and assist in the training of new team members.

Requirements

  • Qualifications in traffic management, such as 12D or 12ab with M6, are highly desirable.
  • T1/T2 qualification and knowledge of Chapter 8 are essential.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to pass a safety-critical worker medical are required.
  • A full driving license with no more than 6 points is necessary.
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
  • A positive attitude, adaptability, flexibility, and attention to detail are essential.
