We are seeking a dedicated Theatre Cleaner to play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our esteemed theatres. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our venues are clean, safe, and welcoming for our audiences and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing exceptional cleaning services in a commercial or hospitality setting. You will be knowledgeable about appropriate cleaning techniques, products, and equipment, and will have a strong attention to detail and commitment to providing a clean and sanitary environment.

As a Theatre Cleaner, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

  • Performing general cleaning tasks throughout the theatre, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including replenishing supplies and ensuring a high standard of hygiene.
  • Emptying trash cans and disposing of waste appropriately.
  • Cleaning and maintaining theatre seating areas, including wiping down chairs and ensuring they are in good condition.
  • Cleaning and maintaining lobby areas, including glass surfaces, entrance doors, and ticket counters.
  • Maintaining cleanliness backstage, including dressing rooms, green rooms, and production areas.
  • Responding to urgent cleaning requests and accidents promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to report any maintenance issues or repairs needed.
  • Following established health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, reliable, and able to work independently. You will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and will need to be physically fit to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
