Responsibilities:
  • Configure and set welding equipment parameters and processes according to contract drawings and approved welding procedures.
  • Maintain accurate welder traceability records on completed workpieces.
  • Execute welding tasks using Sub Arc Welding, GTAW, and GMAW techniques.
  • Perform arc gouging as required.
  • Communicate effectively with your supervisor regarding all aspects of your work, including safety, productivity, and quality.
  • Ensure the use of designated and appropriate weld wire according to the WPS.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Properly care for welding equipment, including machines and positioners.
  • Strive for high production levels while maintaining exceptional quality output.
  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work.
