Our client, CMD Recruitment, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.


As a prominent manufacturer in the aerospace sector, our client specializes in producing high-quality seals and components for various industrial applications.


This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including machinery repairs, troubleshooting, site maintenance, welding, fabrication, and the assembly and installation of equipment.


Key Responsibilities:
- Execute maintenance tasks to a high standard
- Interpret engineering drawings and standard operating procedures
- Conduct pre-installation and PUWER assessments
- Utilize measuring instruments effectively
- Manage emails, correspondence, and job report documentation

Collaboration:
- Work alongside external contractors as necessary

Candidate Profile:
- Engineering background with hands-on experience in machine operation and maintenance
- Proficiency in both Mechanical and Electrical engineering
- Familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic, and other systems
- Strong grasp of maintenance methodologies
- Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

This role requires a commitment of 39 hours per week, with working hours from Monday to Thursday and a half-day on Friday.

Successful candidates will demonstrate proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, showcasing a proactive and motivated approach. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to high standards.
