About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled PLC Control Engineer to join our team at Set2Recruit. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative grid connections, integrating large-scale PV, wind, CHP, and EHV grids, and providing cutting-edge IoT-enabled SCADA systems and AI-enabled smart network control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop PLC control systems for complex projects
  • Create I/O cards and select PLCs for optimal performance
  • Use CAD software, including panel layouts and I/O drawings, to create detailed designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Develop and implement export limitation schemes and battery storage system integration

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in PLC design and development
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD packages
  • Strong understanding of electrical control systems and grid connections
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
