About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical and electrical background to perform reactive and preventative maintenance of machinery within the Food Manufacturing Industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, adhere to Health and Safety Policies & Procedures, and possess knowledge of Electrical Control Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
  • Develop and implement PPM schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Policies & Procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve maintenance-related issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical maintenance (ideally 17th or 18th Edition)
  • Experience working in the Food Manufacturing Industry
  • Knowledge of Electrical Control Systems and PLCs
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
