Job Title: Aftersales Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Aftersales Service Engineer to join our team at Ward Recycling. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mobile and fixed recycling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain a robust PPM schedule for mobile and fixed recycling equipment
  • Provide technical support for reactive maintenance and fault finding
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure effective equipment maintenance and repair
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our equipment and its operation
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure seamless equipment operation
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in hydraulic and electrical fault finding and repair
  • Wide range of experience in the fault finding and diagnosis of mobile plant equipment
  • Full UK driving license
  • Welding experience (MIG/ARC) and burning/cutting with propane/oxygen advantageous
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  • Conscientious, organised and driven with good communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge for updating the maintenance scheme upon tasks completed
  • Experience of a manufacturing/processing environment
  • Time served with relevant plant operation certificates
