Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Morriston Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your clinical experience and training in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to patients, including providing specialist advice and expertise to clinicians and nursing staff. They will also be involved in the audit, monitoring, and development of Medicines Management at ward level.

Additionally, the Clinical Pharmacist will contribute to the ongoing operational provision of the pharmacy service, participate in weekend, Bank Holiday, and out-of-hours rotas, and provide clinical pharmacy support to the dispensary.

Person Specification
  • Masters Degree MPharm
  • Postgraduate MSc/Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Current Registration with GPhC
  • Post-registration experience in hospital clinical pharmacy at Band 6 or above
  • Experience of working in a range of clinical specialties
