About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estates Multi-Skilled Technician to join our team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Estates Department, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality, efficient, responsive, flexible, and effective estates service to our Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of Estates Trade Staff teams as appropriate.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors as appropriate.
  • Carry out inspections, tests, repairs, installations, and other technical work on Trust property, plant, and infrastructure.
  • Organize and coordinate own workload and manage assigned trade staff workload as required.
  • Report faults identified during routine checks or in the course of the normal working day.
  • Investigate technical failures and identify the appropriate permanent repair required to ensure ongoing reliability and statutory compliance.
  • Participate in the Estates escalation process and assist other estate staff at all levels with technical works and technical problem-solving.
  • Carry out internal audits of Estates teamwork and practice.
  • Participate in the Estates on-call rota.
