Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Controls Proposals Engineer will serve as the technical authority for the control systems package, responsible for:

  • Creating comprehensive controls work packages, including defining the scope of work and supporting tender cost estimations.
  • Drafting technical descriptions of equipment and assisting in customer clarification meetings.
  • Facilitating tender handover meetings with the project team.
  • Proposing alternative solutions that can mitigate costs and risks while expediting delivery timelines.

What You Will Do:
- Oversee and execute high-value, complex control system tender proposals.
- Develop tenders in alignment with established procedures and define project execution scopes.
- Prepare technical solutions, assess ITT specifications, and identify exceptions and qualifications.
- Create RFQ packages for both internal and external vendors while managing vendor inquiries.
- Conduct design reviews and lead the tender Pre-Plant approval presentations.
- Ensure technical coherence with controls package engineering and other engineering disciplines.
- Identify and assist in risk assessments, crafting the controls system tender package.
- Provide technical guidance during post-bid clarifications and facilitate the transition to the project team.
