Job Title: Band 5/6 Community Rehab Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a rotational Band 6 position. This exciting opportunity will enable you to develop and integrate your OT skills and knowledge in social services, community, and acute settings.

  • Work across multiple settings, including Kingston Hospital and Richmond, to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and training programs to enhance your professional development.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years qualified Occupational Therapy experience.
  • Postgraduate experience in rehabilitation, including therapeutic handling and management of people with complex conditions.
  • Broad clinical experience in orthopaedics, general medicine, neurology, and older adults.
  • Knowledge and experience of Home First/Discharge to Assess pathway and occupational therapy as part of hospital discharge.
  • Demonstrate a flexible, adaptable, client-centred, non-discriminatory approach.
  • Ability to reflect critically and appraise own performance.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
