Maths Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled Maths Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Maths Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve their academic goals.

Our learners are situated throughout East Sussex, particularly in Eastbourne, Heathfield, Crowborough, Uckfield, and Hastings. You will provide tuition to learners who are struggling to meet age-related academic expectations, working with them in their own homes or schools on a 1:1 or small group basis.

• Create engaging lesson plans and deliver tuition that inspires and teaches.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.

• Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
• Live and be eligible to work in the UK.
• Willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
• A commitment to safeguarding.
• Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
