Job Title: Automotive Product Specialist

As an Automotive Product Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating premium fuel systems, electrical systems, and aftermarket parts for internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Add Delphi part numbers to the global PIM tool (CCU) as requested by Product Line.
  • Research and validate potential new vehicle application linkages to current live Delphi part numbers to maximize Delphi's market coverage.
  • Research and validate key defined competitors (KDC) cross-reference details against Delphi part numbers to maximize Delphi's competitive position.
  • Maintain data storage locations (CCU and Excel files) with accurate information obtained from new vehicle application linkage research and KDC cross-reference research.
  • Research and maintain product relational part number data locations.
  • Product photography - liaison with photographer as required.
  • TecDoc maintenance.
  • Liaison with other internal teams, including Category, Product, and Engineering.
  • Liaison with customers regarding feedback and issues.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in automotive aftermarket cataloguing or motor trade business.
  • Experience with cataloguing systems at main dealers or aftermarket.
Expected Skills and Competencies:
  • Understanding of car parts with some mechanical knowledge.
  • Experience with Tecdoc or Tecdoc derivative systems.
  • Experience with ERP and industry cataloguing/analytics tools, including CCU (advantageous but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Accurate with meticulous attention to detail, organized, and able to work closely within a team and to schedules.
  • Ability to work to schedules.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude and sense of humor.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented with sound time management and organization skills.
  • Solid communication skills and able to take action and escalate when necessary.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Results-driven and focused on delivering.
  • Builds trust with key stakeholders and understands the customer perspective.
