Job Title: Junior Integrated Designer

Join Aquent, a global communications agency, as a Junior Integrated Designer and contribute to the creation of dynamic and engaging design collateral for clients. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from internal and external pitch materials to events and display stands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop design concepts and visual elements for various design and artwork collateral in digital and print formats.
  • Create bespoke presentations and creative decks using Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
  • Support the creation of high-end design collateral for events, display stands, invitations, and bespoke products.
  • Assist in brainstorming and think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts for print and digital media.
  • Interpret client briefs and provide well-thought-out concepts, rationales, and designs.
  • Interact with clients to take updates and feedback.
  • Work closely with the Workflow Coordinator, Senior Designers, and Creative Lead.
  • Liaise with the offshore creative team and provide thorough handovers at the end of the shift.
  • Keep the Excel job status tracker up to date.
  • Uphold brand guidelines and have a strong knowledge of design standards.
  • Adhere to best practices to ensure consistency of processes and housekeeping.
  • Complete and keep up to date on all company compliance and department procedures and processes ensuring that they are adhered to.
Requirements:
  • Excellent all-round pure graphic design skills - illustration, photography, and videography skills a bonus.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft 365 and familiar with all tools in Microsoft Powerpoint.
  • Sound knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator - Premiere Pro and After Effects are a bonus.
  • Proficient with both PC and Apple Mac systems.
  • Understanding of both print and digital processes.
  • Awareness of current trends and ability to interpret those into new creative executions.
  • Highly organised, motivated, and responsible with a keen eye for detail and good presentations and graphics production knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A calm, confident manner with a positive 'can-do' attitude and a flexible approach to forever evolving time constraints on projects.
  • Comfortable working in a corporate client environment.
