Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer Officer to join our team at the Royal Navy. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing power generation and maintenance support to our fleet of ships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems on board our ships.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers and crew members to resolve complex mechanical problems.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our power generation systems.
Requirements
  • Hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) or higher in Marine Engineering.
  • Have a valid ENG1 medical certificate and be unrestricted for worldwide sea service.
  • Hold a certificate of competency as an Officer of the Watch (unlimited), Second Engineer (unlimited), or Chief Engineer (unlimited).
  • Have completed the four elements of basic training, including Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Elementary First Aid, and Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities.
