We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Woodlands Care Home, a luxury care home providing Residential, Nursing & Dementia care for 81-residents in Aberdeen.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with our care team to deliver person-centred care, ensuring the needs of our residents are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with medication administration and record-keeping
  • Support residents with daily living activities, such as eating, drinking, and mobility
  • Engage with residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and stimulation
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver high-quality care and support

Requirements

We are looking for a Care Assistant with:

SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalentAt least 1 year's experience working in a care capacityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
