About the Role

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our aseptic services team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a Production Pharmacist Aseptics Specialist, you will be responsible for the provision of aseptic products and services, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an authorized pharmacist responsible for the provision of aseptic products and services.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the aseptic unit, working collaboratively with staff and other teams.
  • Ensure service delivery meets the needs of our patients and complies with regulatory requirements.
  • Work with the Clinical Trials team to deliver clinical trials and ensure full preparation and regulatory compliance.
About Us

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust has a large manufacturing facility, split across multiple sites, with a team of over 140 staff working in licensed manufacturing and named patient dispensing areas. Our services include aseptic preparation, sterile and non-sterile manufacturing, clinical trials, quality control, and quality assurance.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a pharmacist in an aseptic unit.
  • Experience in staff training and assessment.
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy.
  • Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy Practice or equivalent.
  • Competency-assessed and examined professional registration as a pharmacist with the GPhC.
