Job Summary:

Matchtech is seeking a highly skilled Associate Process Engineer - Clean Water to join our team. As a key member of our water sector team, you will be responsible for leading process engineering projects and developing innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and regulators in the UK and worldwide, providing expert advice and guidance on process engineering matters.
  • Design and implement process engineering solutions for drinking water treatment technologies, including feasibility studies, process design, and technical report writing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement low-carbon footprint designs and digital design solutions.
  • Conduct risk assessments, develop control philosophies, and create commissioning strategies for process engineering projects.
  • Manage and mentor teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level education in process engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in the municipal water engineering sector, with a strong understanding of water treatment technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other design tools, such as water quality analysis and process performance metrics.
