Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Power Electrics. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our generator fleet, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fault finding and diagnosis of generator sets
  • Engine electrical and mechanical problem resolution
  • Electrical and mechanical component replacement
  • Basic wet and dry engine service
  • Control panel modifications and tweaks
  • Customer liaison and communication
  • Provide call-out cover for generator breakdowns
  • Compliance with company health and safety policies
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Diesel Fitting/Plant
  • Good fault-finding abilities and strong communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a Field Service environment
  • Full Driving Licence (with towing categories preferred)
  • Good customer awareness and ability to respond to customers' requirements effectively
