About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Crisis Worker to join our team at Mountain Healthcare, a leading provider of clinical forensic healthcare services. As a Crisis Worker, you will play a critical role in providing victims of sexual assault with the support and care they need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for service users, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to share their experiences.
  • Support the process of preparing service users and assisting in the collection of forensic evidence, ensuring a high standard of DNA anticontamination is maintained.
  • Liaise with other agencies to manage the service user pathway, ensuring a seamless and effective service.
  • Assist patients and act as an advocate during their time at the Sexual Assault Referral Centre, empowering them to feel in control and supported.
  • Be a key player within the SARC team and wider company network, contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.

Essential Skills:

  • IT skills and basic administration, including experience working in a supportive or customer-focused environment.
  • A kind and caring nature, with a strong understanding of confidentiality and the importance of maintaining patient trust.
  • Advanced DBS and level 2 Police vetting will be required for this role.
  • A UK driving license and access to a vehicle are necessary for this position, as additional travel may be required across SARC's.
