As a Commercial Consultancy Advisor, you will provide pre- and post-contract commercial management of medium value/medium risk activity and support pre-contract activity within the project delivery team's scope of work. You will provide specialist commercial advice, guidance, and recommendations to mitigate commercial risks.

Your responsibilities will include:

\u2022 Supporting pre- and post-contract procurement activities as appropriate.
\u2022 Providing support to estimating resources, offering guidance and advice on project scale/scope as required.
\u2022 Supporting with the data collection for senior commercial manager requirements.
\u2022 Carrying out commercial health checks.
\u2022 Supporting with customer meetings.
\u2022 Managing the invoice and credit note process.
\u2022 Managing minor ASPRO authority process.
\u2022 Ensuring ASPRO's debt position is managed appropriately.
\u2022 Managing project close-out process.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

\u2022 Demonstrable experience in commercially managing investment projects.
\u2022 Demonstrable relevant experience.
\u2022 Good understanding of railway and construction industry forms of contract.
\u2022 Good understanding of the construction/railway industry.
\u2022 Good negotiation skills.

You will also have:

\u2022 Educated to degree standard in a related subject.
\u2022 Membership of a relevant professional institute, chartered status.
\u2022 Significant experience working within a generalist commercial environment.
\u2022 Awareness of industry issues.
