Security Event Manager

As a key member of the security event management team at OCS UK & Ireland, you will play a crucial role in planning and delivering event security on the NEC campus. Reporting to the senior security event manager, you will work closely with the security duty managers and the campus traffic and logistics manager to ensure seamless event execution.
Main Duties & Responsibilities- Deliver security event management across the NEC Campus, ensuring timely and accurate completion of security event management administration, including forecasts, costings, dot plans, security risk assessments, and invoicing.
- Plan and deliver security for events across the NEC Campus, collaborating with the NEC event management team to ensure effective event execution.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including the NEC Group, local authorities, campus tenants, and emergency services, to build strong partnerships and ensure best practice.
- Liaise with clients, trade associations, and other forums to ensure effective service delivery and best practice.
- Provide management direction for the NEC event security team, setting standards, culture, and performance expectations.
- Support the management of the casual workforce, including recruitment, scheduling, and HR liaison.
- Diploma or certificate in Security Risk Management or equivalent field (desirable)
- SIA Door Supervisor
- SIA CCTV License
- First Aid at Work
- IOSH
- NeBOSH (desirable)
- Experience in security management, events or conference sector, and project management
- Strong communication, dependability, flexibility, drive, teamwork, and time management skills
