Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is collaborating with an Educational Institution in the Cheltenham region, offering an opportunity for a Catering Assistant to become part of their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Benefits:

  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday - no weekends

  • Shifts available from 8 am to 3 pm and 11 am to 6 pm

Role Overview:

As a Catering Assistant, you will be essential in creating a pleasant dining experience for the children at the educational institution. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing the dining area and trolleys for breakfast, lunch, and tea services. You will assist the kitchen by preparing sandwiches, fruits, and vegetables, as well as maintaining records of diligence while adhering to health and safety regulations and food safety standards. Your duties will also involve kitchen support, ensuring cleanliness, and contributing to a welcoming dining atmosphere within the educational community.

  • Previous experience in catering or hospitality is preferred
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • A proactive and meticulous approach to tasks
  • A valid enhanced DBS certificate is required
  • Food hygiene certification is necessary
