Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily operational oversight of clinical service provision to ensure business continuity.
  • Work clinically a minimum of two days each week, providing specialist palliative care nursing for patients in their own homes 24/7.
  • Lead the Hospice at Home Team, providing specialist palliative care nursing, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of patients and their loved ones.
  • Develop and implement clinical governance and risk management frameworks to ensure compliance with CQC standards.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to develop and deliver clinical services that meet the needs of patients and their loved ones.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the Hospice at Home Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Current active registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Experience in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information effectively.
  • Competence in clinical governance and risk management.
  • Experience in project management, including change and continuous improvement delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize competing demands.
