Position Overview

As a Catering Equipment Technician, you will play a crucial role in the service and maintenance of commercial kitchen appliances across various establishments. This position offers a competitive salary starting from £40,000 with a standard 40-hour work week, and you will be compensated for your travel time with a door-to-door payment structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting service, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Performing fault diagnosis on both electrical and gas-powered catering appliances.
  • Engaging with clients in a field-based role, ensuring a high level of customer service.

Essential Qualifications
  • COMCAT certification.
  • Experience with LPG & F-GAS Refrigeration is advantageous.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (such as 18th Edition, HNC, NVQ, or City and Guilds in electrics) are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Basic salary starting from £40,000+ based on location and experience.
  • Overtime compensation at competitive rates.
  • Generous holiday allowance of 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Company vehicle provided (VW Caddy Van with A/C & Sat Nav), available for personal use.
