Job Title: Head of Medical Recruitment

Cooper Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Head of Medical Recruitment to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for developing and growing a portfolio of medical care sector and NHS accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective account management strategies to maximise revenues and identify new business opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision makers within each account, gaining trust and qualifying the key decision makers and influencers.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our solutions and strategies, ensuring best practice in account planning and fitting solutions to customer requirements.
  • Gain referrals from customers and contacts to open doors to new customers, and follow up leads to develop and win new business.
  • Participate in recruitment seminars and events, proactively networking to grow pipeline and business.
  • Develop business plans to bring on and develop new and existing accounts, and take personal responsibility for building and maintaining industry and competitor knowledge.
  • Achieve growth and retention targets, capturing feedback from customers on areas for service improvement and development, and providing feedback in a structured way to internal departments.
  • Manage, grow, and develop a team of trusted recruiters.
Requirements:
  • Applicants must have a Medical Care Sector and/or NHS recruitment sales background, with a proven track record of success in this sector.
  • Detailed knowledge of the services in our portfolio, with the ability to diagnose and analyse complex commercial recruitment requirements.
  • High calibre individual with gravitas, able to establish trusted relationships at a senior level.
  • Able to demonstrate previous experience of growing medical care sector or NHS Trust accounts, with sound business acumen and commercial/financial awareness.
  • Proactive user and believer in CRM to assist in delivering results, with experience of developing relationships internally and externally.
  • Clean driver's license.
