Job Title: Band 6 Stroke Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Stroke Occupational Therapist to join our team on a locum basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute stroke and neuro rehabilitation, with a minimum of 6-12 months of NHS experience.

About the Role:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with stroke and neuro conditions in an acute setting.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations to promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Occupational Therapy degree (MSc or BSc) and full HCPC registration.
  • Minimum of 6-12 months of NHS experience in stroke and neuro rehabilitation, ideally in an acute setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
