Job Title: SEN Support Teaching Assistant

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a SEN Support Teaching Assistant. This role involves providing tailored support to a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN), fostering a positive learning environment, and assisting the classroom teacher in creating an inclusive and enriching educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. **Provide One-to-One Support:**

Provide individualized support to a student with SEN, ensuring their unique needs are met.

**Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs):**

Assist in the implementation of IEPs and personalized learning strategies to support the student's academic and personal growth.

**Collaborate with the Classroom Teacher:**

Work closely with the classroom teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the student's social, emotional, and academic development.

**Support Social and Emotional Development:**

Foster a sense of belonging and self-confidence in the student by supporting their social and emotional development.

**Adapt Teaching Materials:**

Adapt and differentiate teaching materials to accommodate the student's learning style and abilities.

**Communicate Effectively:**

Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting the student's needs.

**Monitor Progress:**

Monitor and record the student's progress, providing regular feedback to the teaching team to inform instruction and support.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  1. **Relevant Experience:**

Relevant experience in supporting students with SEN in an educational setting.

**Knowledge of SEN:**

Knowledge of various special educational needs and strategies to address them.

**Strong Communication Skills:**

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

**Patience and Empathy:**

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students with SEN.
