AG Barr has been a leading manufacturer of soft drinks in the UK for over 145 years, with a portfolio of iconic brands that are loved by the nation.
As a Business Development Representative, you will be part of our National Field Sales Team, supporting our Symbols & Independents (S&I) business. Your primary focus will be on driving the distribution and visibility of our core brands within Impulse outlets within a designated territory, with the goal of achieving 'model store' status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximize the visibility of AG Barr brands through the placement of campaign and brand Point Of Sale (POS) materials, with a focus on supporting our energy portfolio distribution plan.
- Ensure the placement of 'must stock' lines and showcase new product development within specific stores.
- Embed our energy portfolio and Focus 5 Brands, driving improved rate of sale and distribution on key energy and 500ml packs.
- Sell and communicate brand plans at a local level, educating retailers and ensuring key business messages are relayed effectively.
- Build relationships with cross-functional teams, participating in targeted tactical activities as briefed by your Field Sales Manager.
- Present brands via a prepared presentation and secure commitments to purchase.
- Complete administrative tasks as required, such as order sheets and call reports.
- Build brand awareness through excellent execution at the point of purchase.
- Improve the distribution of key brands in line with the company marketing plan.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified driver's license.
- Fluent in English.
- Flexibility to attend monthly team meetings, which may require overnight stays.
