About Us: RINA Piraeus Team is a leading provider of technical advisory services for the renewable energy industry. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant to join our team and contribute to the delivery of wind energy projects worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Manage and deliver wind energy projects for developers and investors, including hybrid projects with other technologies.
- Technical Support: Provide technical engineering support to clients at all stages of the project development cycle.
- Wind Yield Team Support: Contribute to the development of wind resource assessment methodologies and provide support to the wind yield team.
- Reporting and Quality Assurance: Prepare, review, and approve technical and non-technical reports, as well as proposals.
- Liaison and Client Facing: Liaise with clients and stakeholders, and lead commercial activities such as proposal writing and client presentations.
- Business Development: Support business development and professional excellence activities, including expanding our database of best practice commercial and technical documentation.
- Education: STEM Degree or Masters
- Experience: Relevant experience working in the sector for a technical consultancy, project developer, or IPP, with strong practical knowledge of renewable energy asset development, construction, operation, and financing.
- Project Management: Project management experience and capability to lead a project team.
- Technical Skills: Experience in operational reforecasting of wind projects using monthly operational performance data and detailed SCADA data, as well as pre-construction wind resource assessment, including feasibility studies, layout optimisation, yield analysis with non-linear flow models (CFD), and due diligence of third-party analyses.
- Software Skills: Experience with Excel VBA, Python, WindPRO, Meteodyn, and Sift.
