About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Water Technologies team at Ross-Shire Engineering Limited. As a key member of our design team, you will play a leading role in the development of innovative electrical and instrumentation/control designs for our water treatment and asset management projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop industry-leading electrical and instrumentation/control concept and detailed designs
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplined engineering teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Participate in safety studies and lead the EICA engineering input to and review of design solutions
  • Work with our in-house construction and commissioning teams to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients
  • Provide technical guidance on EICA matters to the wider project team and senior management
  • Mentor and develop the next generation of EICA engineering talent
Requirements
  • Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Successful (or in progress) Professional Registration with IET, InstMC, or similar (IEng, CEng)
  • Driving License
  • Passion to succeed and develop your career
  • Knowledge of British and European design standards
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years as an Electrical Engineer in both design office and construction environments within the water or related process industry
